Bible App Challenge
We're committing to one week of filling our lives with God's word.
The challenge is to make The Bible App the first one you open every morning and the last one you look at before you fall asleep!
The idea is to intentionally fill our lives with the positive influence of God's word in combat of the many other things that invade our minds and hearts.
As a reminder, we have included First & Last wallpapers for your phones lock screen, so that as you're unlocking your phone, you're reminded of the challenge.
Girls & Guys Small Groups
This is a Bi-Weekly Small group that happens on Sunday's at 7 pm. We typically begin the night with some games or worship at 6:30 pm followed by a snack and Small Group chats from 7-8 PM.
Join youth leader Julia who is leading a group just for girls with some help from Pastor Crystal.
Girls are discussing how to read the Bible, spiritual growth, self-esteem, and much more in a friendly environment for girls who are 12-18 years of age.
This group is focusing on the book of James during the fall. If you’d like to attend this group, simply bring a Bible with you (if you don’t have one, we can provide one). Girls who have already attended are encouraged to study James through the lens of the SOAP method. See the photo to the right for details of what SOAP means.
Join 'All-Star' Steve Harris who leads this Small Group for LYM Guys. We're thrilled that he has agreed to use his interests and experience to help our us navigate some challenging questions.
We're dealing with some of the big questions that we find ourselves asking God, or asking about faith and the world around us.
Youth are riddled with questions relating to faith, you have submitted these (and more) as a part of what you would like to discuss during this Small Group:
>> "How do I hear God's voice?"
>> "When do we know we have lost our salvation?"
>> "Why does God make bad things happen?"
>> "Is the 'god' of other religions (like Islam) the same as our God?"
We want to help you walk through these questions, along with friends and often pizza (or other snacks) and hopefully you'll become stronger in your faith.
